Regedit & CMD not working

    Guys,

    I'm trying to clean SurfSideKick off a friends machine, following the various posts on here, step by step.

    Whilst trying to sort this, a couple of problems I have noticed are that regedit and cmd don't work. Regedit.com is not a valid windows program ?

    The machine is running WinXP Home edition.

    Any idea why this is happening ?

    regedit.com???? start / run / regedit

    Tim, thanks for the response.

    "Regedit.com" is the error message text when trying to run regedit from start/run.
