Sorry for not looking through all the posts here, but about a year ago I had some computer issues and somewhere along the line (most likely from this site) someone recommended RegFixPro. So, I downloaded it and ran it - it cleaned up my issue. Today, I talked to a guy who told me that RegFixPro is a spyware/adware program. This guy I spoke with does not normally deal with people like me (you know just your average person who really doesn't have much of a clue about computers). So, what I would really like to know is if someone can give me a clue about RegFixPro - good program - bad program. If I need to get rid of it - how is the best way to do it? (I know how to uninstall, but if it is bad - is there a sure fire way to get it (all of it and totally) off my system)? Thanks so much.

I personally tend to steer clear of any so-called "Registry cleaners/fixers" because they almost always seem to do more harm than good.
    Just my opinion.

As mentioned, most registry cleaning will not fix performance and can cause issues. CCleaner has a safe registry and drive cleaner, use that. Also, if you download from here, you will be safe, we dont list RegFixPro,
