Region code blocked on Acer laptop.

    I blocked the region code on my Acer laptop (Windows XP). They say you can only change it a total of five times and then it cannot be changed again.... Well I have managed to do it. Formatting do not work.

    What can I do to watch movies again.... Except for DivX, or copying movies to the hard drive? Is there any other options?

    I have a feeling though the only way to correct your problem would be to update it with modded firmware, if available. What is the make and model number shown in device manager?

    There is a third party software called ANYDVD that will solve your problem
