Hi, i have just downloaded a program from MajorGeeks site called "ABView" I ran the set up and it was almost finished when I got an error message come up which said

    C:\ProgramFiles|ABView\ABViewShell.dll
    Unable to register the DLL/OCX;LoadLibrary failed;code 998.
    Invalid access to memory location.

Has anyone got any ideas how to sort this problem?? I am so annoyed as I have been looking everywhere for a replacement for a program called PicaView which is not available anymore. I spotted this ABView and it is just what I wanted.

Please can anyone help me before I have a nervous breakdown!!! lol :cry

I have sorted it out and solved the problem thanks to reading some posts on other forums. Seems it is to do with DEP. I had it set to be turned on for all programs and services. I set it for essential Windows programs and services only and then run the set up again. Hey Presto... it loaded without any problems.:)
