registry cleaner dowload

    Good afternoon everyone. I am trying to execute Regcleaner from the link supported by Majorgeeks; I did the dowloading, it shows up on my desktop, but when I click on the program's icon nothing happens. What am I doing wrong?
    Under download it shows up as jv 16_regcleaner.exe. Thanks for any help or suggestion.

    What Windows version are you using?


    AS Regcleaner is from 2002 and not supported now, it maybe a better choice to migrate to CCleaner whos registry cleaner option is less invasive than many so doesnt normally cause too many issues ( using it for last 5yrs + I had no issues with this application and the registry) .

    try downloading it again and installing it again by double clicking jv_16regcleaner.exe as I just tried it in Windows 7 from the top majorgeeks link and it worked OK.

    I am using Windows XP SP3. I tried to double click on the .exe file, but nothing, it's like I downloaded a fake or something.

    If you try this link http://majorgeeks.com/downloadget.php?id=460&file=15&evp=918d178ce8f53361a121db92cc3c7d2e I know its working as that is the one I downloaded and tried, do remember to click Save and then run from your PC and not to click Run from the Download dialogue box.


    If it doesnt work then dowwnload CCleaner as its much better IMHO that the very old RegCleaner (RegCleaner was my fav app back in the day, but its not supported now so can have issues on specific PCs and Setups).

    Dear Halo, it is working now. I just double clicked on it for the third time, and it just open up. So, all is well, thanks for your reply
