I was looking for a decent registry clearner and maybe even a system optimizer, but ive got tuition and bills so I was wondering if anyone could recommend the best overall FREEware edition that isnt a hassle to use.

    thanks in advance,

One of the best and safest is Ccleaner plus its very easy to use.

It will clean a lot of rubbish plus clean the registry and it has an un-installer as well

Many will say the best registry cleaner is none at all. That said, I use a free program called RegSeeker. CCleaner also has a registry cleaning feature I've tried but don't regularly use. I've had no issues using either.

I used Comodo's FREE product and it SEEMED to do a good job......but, what do I know.

Check it out and let me know. (Just be sure to put them on your email black list afterward......they're bombarding me (trying to) with after-use sales messages.)

If I may add one more to this growing list, I use 'Wise Registry Cleaner 3,' which can be found here http://www.wisecleaner.com/ Actually, I have CCleaner, RegSeeker, and Wise Registry Cleaner installed at present and have had no problems out of any of them. They all make back-ups, so if you happen to screw up you can revert back. I know, having 3 registry cleaners installed is 'overkill,' but I like all 3 of them, though I am inclined to agree that CCleaner is probably the safest one. Regardless of which one you choose, ALWAYS make a back-up!! Hope this helps;)
