Registry Defragmentor Impressions?

I just installed and ran this program . . . Registry Defragmentor 7.1.5.20

has anyone used it with successfull results?

I already run Reg Supreme Pro for registry cleanup/maintenance and love it . . . but it seems combined with a linear registry would be optimal for registry access/system performance . . .

what does a linear registry mean anyway?

Any thoughts would be great . .

Well, if you had gone through the same link (http://majorgeeks.com/download4004.html), its clear that "LINEAR STRUCTURE" means that there is no missing link in the registry. In short the registry is CLEAN.

Linear means straight line, so therefore Linear Structure would be a Straight Line Structure. What that means as far as the Reg Defrag????

lol thanks . . . i went to princeton and i know the freakin definition of "linear" im simply curious if that would really have a positive tangible effect on my system performance or whether it was a term used for propaganda purposes only . . . through user experience that is due to my being new to the program and all . . .

I think Shadow was wondering what the heck linear structure had anything to do with Registry Defragmentation. I'm not following him either (lol), but being a Princeton educated person, perhaps you could tell us if you're experiencing a faster computer as a result of reg defrag.

I would suspect it is a marketing ploy. I with the Capn your system running any faster after using the program.

Linear Structure most likely as has been said above is just like a space defrag, if their are gaps in the registry structure then it will take minutely longer to read, thus removing old dead keys and gaps helps keep a more organised and easier to read registry.

I have used this app before, not done any harm to my PC, but not that the eye could see speeded it up a great deal..... just ends up being one of those routines that you end up doing to keep your PC in order!

an no noticable difference as of yet . . but the program does have an excellent interface and reg supreme pro does seem to analyze and scan faster now . . for whatever that's worth . . .

I LOVE Registry Defragmentor. But this latest version is bugged. I put in my Reg. Code, and it all works, but still asks me for my Code. I suggest any Registered Reg Defrag users NOT install till this version is fixed. This one was just released on this site yesterday. 7.7.10.15
