I downloaded the trial versin of Registry Drill. When the trial period was over I decided to remove it through Windows Control Panel. Much to my surprise I was unable to do so. I recieve a message that read "Could not open logfile 'C:\Programs\Easy desk utilities\Registry Drill\ST5UNST.log'
How do I go about removing it from my computer?

Try booting into safe mode and see if it can be deleted that way.
If not, there is a program called Move On Boot http://www.snapfiles.com/get/moveonboot.html
which allows you to pick a file and remove when the computer reboots before windows loads.
