Registry editor

    I found a scanner that lets me scan my registry but I am interested in a cleaner/editor. I found a number of them in the download section but I am unsure as to which are suited to Vista (my Os).

    Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

    This is the full list of the as-good-as-safe registry cleaners. In this order:

    1. Microsoft's (relatively new) free online service Windows Live OneCare safety scanner
    2. CCleaner slim

    And this is it.

    A few others are harmless because they really can't clean much. But they are not interesting...

    Wise Registry Cleaner is very good, thorough and safe.

    Be sure to backup the registry before cleaning.
