Running XP sp3. Is there a specific registry location or key that allows the Windows control panel display settings to change the resolution? I've eliminated hardware issues as possible cause for not being able to change the screen resolution. If a registry item or key is missing or corrupt can the entry be acquired and merged into the registry? I don't want to format and reinstall OS.
