Registry Mechanic 8 for Windows

    The free version of Registry Mechanic 8 for Windows says I have 700+ things that need fixing but requires that I pay $29.95 to get a registered version that will make the 700+ repairs. Is there a free software that will clean these things or is Registry Mechanic 8 for Windows worth the $29.95? Thanks.

    I would steer clear...there are free programs that can do the same although i usually avoid registry cleaning tools, don't trust most of them..but I do like Ccleaner which is available here it has a registry cleaner included in the s/w
