Registry Mechanic Problem

My computer crashes while running Registry Mechanic. It occurs in the Temporary File/Shortcuts portion of the scan.

Can anyone offer a solution? I am having problems with my system (XP) especially with Internet Explorer.

Well I tried that and the same thing happens. I don't know what is going on.

But thanks for the suggestion. Hopefully someone will figure this thing out.

 

Maybee try CCleaner. Download it and run it then try again. If that dosent work. Uninstall registry mechanic then run CCleaner, reinstall and try again. Just a suggestion, and CCleaner is free. Im not sure if it will help or not but its worth a try eh?

Since it crashes in temp files, which it should not, and you say you are having problems with your system and I.E. I think you might want to move this thread to the malware forum.
