registry mechanic

Hi I had registry mechanic on my computer and the subscription expired so I went and bought a new one at Best Buy but I can't get it activated. The activation screen will not come up, I have uninstalled the old and tried to install the new many times and get no where. can anyone help?

I guess registry mechanic found your old key & won't ask you for a new one. The key may be under its name in registry. It's risky to uninstall it & delete the key, even though it may work.

The safest way is to contact their website's support/forum.

 

Hi Guys tks for the tips I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling and no good. I have email the company for suport I have enclosed a copy of the email can u read it and maybe I am missing something. I have tried to tell them that there must be something in the registry stopping it. Tks Mark

 

I meaned to say uninstall it & manually remove the key from the registry. Don't do that. It can be dangerous.

I don't think he understands your situation. There's no activation during install, correct? Try searching their forum for activation. In th meantime, talk to him again & point out there's no activation screen.
