Registry Mechanic

Just downloaded Registry Mechanic and ran it. It found all kinds of problems. While it was running, I got up and when I got back, it was gone and only the desktop icon was there. When I tried to delete it, it says that the program is running. How can I tell that it is running? There is no icon on task bar? Any Helpp????????????????

 

It will be running in the backround, check your processes and end the registry mechanic process.

 

What are my processes?

 

CTRL+ALT+DEL >Processes Tab

The Registry Mechanic process is named RegMech.exe

 

Should I leave it running in the background? What happened to the list of things wrong, did it repair them? Thanks, can you tell yet that i am not a geek?

 

If you paid for the program it will delete the problems, if not they are still there.

 

ahhhh......I see, I was trying to download Advanced WindowsCare v2 Personal.I have Windows 98, do you know a similar free download I can use?

 

With windows 98 you will probably have to download a few different programs to cover all of the bases that Advanced WindowsCare v2 Personal does.
Do you have any Ad-ware programs or cleaners installed now?
And can you tell us which ones.
