   Dell Laptop, XP Pro...
   
   Upon bootup BSOD appears with the following message...
   
   "The Registry cannot load the hive (file):
   \SystemRoot\System32\Config\SOFTWARE
   or its log or alternate.
   It is corrupt, absent, or not writable."
   
   I have an XP CD, and get get into Recovery Console. Just need to know what to do next.
