Registry Tweaks.

I have a few registry tweaks I want to add to windows 7. Is it best to install them one at a time or can I just make a new Reg file and do them all at the same time?

Thank you. That should make things a bit easier. Yes you should always back up your registry. I agree. Myself. I have a partition set aside just for "trying different things with windows 7. But always keep everything backed up using acronis.

Just for the heck of it. What I am messing around with this time is, Now that I know I can do it. Is making myself One Reg file with all the tweaks I like. Got most of them found. Still looking for.

Disable system restore
Disable Error Reporting

If anyone has this please let me know.

This will disable the Windows Error Reporting Service in Vista. It should work for 7.

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\WerSvc]
"Start"=dword:00000004

*Requires a reboot after it's applied.

And I think thats it unless there is something else Important I may be missing.

 

Uh, some of those are nice for situations where you need to troubleshoot issues on your computer.
