Registry XP vs W98

Hi

I've done some minor registry editing in Win 98 and it always went well but haven't yet tried editing in XP. Is editing XP's registery less difficult, about the same or more difficult?

 

As long as you follow the directions carefully and completely, it should be ok. That being said, if you are unsure of the results, back up the registry (either the portion you are editing or the whole thing).

They're pretty equal, but then I've had plenty of time to look around both registries.

 

With my limited 6 years of editing the registry, they are very similiar.
