Hi,is Registryprot a useful program or just another annoyance to deal with in our attempts to keep the nasties out of our computers? By annoyance i mean does it always pop up alert signs?
When it does detect a trojan attempt at changing a registry value, how do you know it`s really a trojan attempt? Does it actually name the trojan?
    Thanks for any information

Not used this program but jsut read up on it, yes it could be useful in alerting you to a potential nasty wanting to add itself to your registry or the new registry entry maybe a harmless needed one thus the annoyance part of having every registry change being alerted.

No it doesnt directly come out with the Trojan/Nastys name, you would still need to do a quick search on the Name or Data entry to see if its OK or NOT.
