RegScrubXP Problem?

Used RegScrubXP on my wife's comp to do some cleaning (1st time for this prog - have used CCleaner before) and ran across a problem that freezes the program when trying to fix. CPU goes to 100% and have to use Task Manager to quit program.
Section - AppID
Main Key - NSMdt.EXE
Value Name - AppID
Value Data - null
Did some googling and some references were made to NIS 2006 but no resolution was found.
NIS 2006 is used as the main AV on this comp. (I know - resource hog but that's her choice.)
Have put this in the exclusion list for RegScrub but wanted to find out if anyone had run across this problem?
System - Dell Dimension 8400, P4 3.60 Ghz, 2 GB RAM, XPPro SP2 Fully updated

Put RegScrub into the search this forum (for software). I already read a thread today with RegScrub problems. Was surprised to see it so soon again. There are a lot of threads about it.

not sure if we have it here, but regseeker is a good app. not once have i had a problem with it in 3 years, my dogs on the other hand!

Knew there had been some other threads on it recently but I searched on the specific key. I've been using the program on my computer with no problems for about 6 months. Wife's comp is more of a production machine since she works from home 4 days a week so I'll stick with CCleaner on her's.

I'm getting an error on xfire that won't let me open it up now and the '

only thing I did was run this program. I wondered if it cleaned house

a little too well?
