I recently downloaded RegScrubXP (thru Geeks!!) and ran the scrub. My pc performance did improve--but now I cannot access Musicmatch. The logo flashes briefly, but the site doesn't connect/launch. They (MM) are extremely slow in responding to my plea for help, so in the meantime I 'restored' what RegScrub scrubbed, and the Musicmatch STILL doesn't work. Now...here's something I'm kinda freaking out about: in the Help section of the RegScrub, an e-mail address for the mfr is given...but the e-mail I sent to that address was returned, and the explanation was, that the domain doesn't exist. So, now, I'm wondering if I've damaged my OS registry in any way--or whatever function that accessed MM--
Any suggestions would be appreciated!! Here's my PC info:
    Dell Dimension 2400
Windows XP version 5.1.2600 Service Pack 1 Build 2600
    Intel IV
    Total physical memory 256.00MB
    Available memory: 72.68MB
    Available Virtual Memory: 879.41MB
    Dial-up 56kb modem
I'm not sure what other info is needed (I'm learning as I go--) but will find out if needed.
    Thanks, peoples--

Have you tried re-installing MusicMatch? If Reg Scrub deleted a key that they use, that should fix the problem.

I dont know whats wrong with the email, but the author lists his address here http://www.lexundesigns.com/

Probably nothing is wrong with your e-mail, Lexun who was the author distributor(?) has been Appearrantly "aquired"(?) by another company and they are in the process of a large changeover as the new distributor realigns the distribution network. You have to contact the new the new distributor Softpedia. The Lexun website is Under constuction. :D

Oh, by the way, Regscrub is a very good program, I have used it happily for some time and recently had a competitor software program delete part of it. You should, however, always read over your problems found before you delete them as there is always the chance that the software is reading it wrong, or the system may bootup wrong and not get the key links installed so the program can find the targets they lead to.

Personally I have never even listed a link that wasn't what RegScrub said it was, but I sometimes check just to make sure, especially when it is a long list of Keys, or I see a name or two that I can't see why it is there. As I said, It has always been right so far, at least four months, and used 100 times or more. ;)
