RegSvr32 Issue After Cleamup

I am cleaning up a laptop and I ran a few scans from boot disks and after they were finished I booted up Windows (Windows 7 by the way) and received an error message.

"RegSvr32 Error

The module
"C:\Users\*********\AppData\Local\De...\idqbe32.dll"
failed to load

Make sure the binary is stored at the specified path or debug it to check
for problems with the binary or dependent .DLL files.

The specified module could not be found"

I am not sure if it needs to be replaced or something in the registry needs to be fixed. Is summary, my question is, What do I do?

Did you by chance run the JRT scanner for adware? I know it removes items without user consent. I assume that something was removed whatever the scans you ran were.

Can you get to the desktop? If not, can you boot into safe mode with networking or safe mode? It will be easier to track down the problem if you can.

Also, if you have logs of what was removed during your scans (if anything), that would help. Reinstalling a program to reset a broken dependency chain can often be a quick fix for this problem I have found. I use Comodo Programs Manager to monitor the re-installation and then remove the program after reinstalling using CPM if it's something dangerous or unnecessary...

BTW...if you have a Windows 7 restore disk of the type (Home, Pro, etc) that might help later...

At any rate, it sounds like you have a missing reference to a .dll. I think these are usually caused by another .dll being removed or a registry key. I have noticed that cleaners and unfortunately sometimes security programs can cause these problems...
