    Hi,
I have automatic windows update on my comp, when I last ran reimage it downloaded about 70 windows updates, where did those come from if my updates are fully updated before I ran Reimage.

When you reimage your computer is reverted to its state when the image was created so all the updates you had installed since have had to be installed again. If you intend to reimage it's best done monthly.

I agree with Earthling. Image the drive right after the updates from each patch Tuesday have been installed. Then if you need to restore the drive from an image you created, you'd only need the few updates that weren't already in the image you created.
