  1. I need to reinstall XP on my Dell 5150 but I'm have major problems! I tried to make it boot from the disk but It won't let me? I tried to the F12 and set it to boot from my cd or dvd but there is no way to do that. Just boot from SATA drive and usb drive? Anyway I can force it to boot from a CD rom?

    1. Go here http://www.chrysocome.net/rawwrite
and download rawwrite for windows; the file you want is rawwritewin-0.7.zip
    2. Unzip it and put the exe (with the penguin icon) and diskio.dll in the same folder on your desktop
    3. Go here http://linux.simple.be/tools/sbm
    and download sbm.img
    4. Now click on the rawwrite.exe and put a blank floppy in your floppy drive.
    5. Aside of the box that says Image file, there are three dots. Click them until you find sbm.img and that will go in the blank box.
    6. Click on write. This will write the img file to the floppy so it will be bootable. (It's comparable to burning an ISO boot CD).

    When done exit the program.
Shut down the computer but let the floppy in the drive. When you boot up, you will have the option to boot from the CD drive.
