Reinstall of XP

    If I reinstall XP will I have to reinstall each software package? Can I just put all of the Program Files on a disk and just put them on the new installation?

    Reinstall......OK. It will be there waiting for you......not recommended.

    Format......Lose everything.......start installing everything again.

    If the program had an installer, it possibly made registry changes, installed .dlls, drivers, files and other dependencies in other directories besides Program Files. It's best to just reinstall.
