    Hi there,

I reinstalled Windows XP last night because I thought some of my files were corrupt maybe due to a virus/spyware/etc.

Anyhoo, I managed the reinstall okay, but now my resolution is big (kind of looks like safe mode, but isn't) and I can't adjust it. I tried in the Control Panel -> Display and the Screen Area button won't scroll from Less to More.

One of my thoughts is that I didn't adjust my bios properly when I changed the setting to boot from CD drive to Internal HDD. Can you tell me the order and what boot options should be enabled?

    Any other thoughts?

    Thanks for your help!

When you re-installed XP you have lost your display drivers, you should have a CD with the drivers on it. If you dont have such a CD you will need to find out what kind of display adaptor you have in your machine and download the drivers from the manufacturers website. If you don't know what display adaptor you have then use Aida on your machine, this will give you all the info you need.

    Good luck
