    Hey guys,

Here is what I want to do.

From work I want to be able to control my home based pc.

I want to do this WITHOUT loading any clientside software whatsoever.

I want to be able to type in http://myip:specifiedport in a webbrowser and log on to a service that runs on my machine which will give me control.

Prefer freeware but if not under 50$ please.

Thank you so much guys for all your help...

ps. I tried google but all I get is freaking gotomytpc crap

I could be wrong but I believe that ANY web based remote use software is going to require IIS be on the machine to be remotely operated.

no. The software is designed to respond on port 80. You don't need a webserver running to use them unless specified.
