Remote administration

I was wondering if anyone can help me set up a remote administration network. i dont know if i can do it with what is on windows already or if i have to download something. i need it because i am leaving for college and i know my parents computer will need to be worked on because they get a lot of spyware and they dont know how to get rid of it. I run windows xp pro on my laptop and the computer i want to access runs windows 98. they're computer has an 800 mhz processor and 256 mb ram. i have a 1.8 ghz processor and 512 ram. if you need anything else please let me know
