Remote assistance

confused A friend of mine had some one helping him with his computer and this man type words or numbers into his own laptop and was able to get onto my friends comp like windows remote assistance How :wave

Remote Desktop. Usually it's in the Program Menu>Accessories section.

Windows Instant Messenger has a tool for requesting Remote Assistance to the person you are chatting which I find is very easy to use/get started. I believe both parties must have Remote Desktop installed.

Depending on your OS, there might be a compatible version of Remote Desktop. There's a lot of info about Remote Desktop on Microsoft website.
