Remote Control Programming

I have a Pioneer 5 Disc CD\DVD changer with a Pioneer XXD3033 remote, I was told I had to program the remote to work properly.

I can't find anything in the paper work or online to do this. The only things that work are, volume contol, open/close button and next chapter. Nothing else works and I was told that it had to be programmed.

Anyone have a clue?

That's the one I have, but I don't know how to program it. It came with the system, but it doesnt work as it should, by that I mean like "Pause, Play, etc;" someone that had this same system told me it had to be programmed, but how to do this is beyond me.

 

Just did some research and apparently the instructions are on the back of the remote

 

The only thing on the back is "Made in China".. lol

 

I don't know if you could classify the remote as dead, but how about this?

Hate to state the simplistic, but are you using the batteries that came 'free' with the remote? Often these are so crap and flat, then won't do a thing and need changing.

Just a thought....been there, done that HTH

 

That's the first thing I do is put my batteries in, I always chunk factory batteries. LOL!

 

I will check this out, if this is the one that came with it, I looked but never found anything related to programming the remote.
