Remote Desktop Tools

So I'm looking for suggestions. I've recently started a new job and need a Remote Desktop Client to allow me to connect to other PCs. My coworkers each have their own preffered client and each one is different. I'm currently using PushVNC but would like something else in the event I can't get it to connect correctly. What are some suggestions on something that I don't have to install everywhere but just my machine. Preferrably Freeware also.

From what I understand TeamViewer is the freeware standard for desktop sharing. Don't know if it'll sync with the other machines' existing software but as it's a "no installation" app it should be painless - each machine just runs the executable without downloading anything.
