When using XP Pro's Remote Desktop between two computers, which processor is running the program?

    What I mean is:
If computer #1 is accessing a program on Computer #2, (running a movie editing program, for example) which computer's processor is actually being used (to render the editing of the movie)?

The remote system is doing all the processing. The local system is only spending cycles to maintain the connection and refresh the screen.

Wrong, its the local system thats being viewed, not the system running the client to connect. This is evident if you look at many of the thin clients designed to connect via rdp to a terminal server.

Acording to the task managers, it appears that the remote computer is the only one using its processor (except of course the remote console on the host).
Thank you both for your responses.
