Remote HD purchase

    i wanting to buy a remote HD to use as back up to my desktop and laptop. Any suggestions on the current market? I would like to keep the price down, but have something that is reliable. Thanks.

    WD Passport, USB 2.0 powered so no lugging a power adapter around, light and has a funky blue power/transfer light... 'C'mon how neat is that :) it will also fit in pocket or handbag!!

    I love the passport drives and the P&P USB feature if I'm moving it between 2 PCs. I don't need the capacity (or price) of the My Books one. And the funky blue light matches the funky blue light feature on my cell :D C'MON!

    So what size is yours and Matacumbie's?

    Yes ma'am exactly the same one as mine ;)

    have to say its one of the best buys I've made in a while.... love the device and its was Matacumbie who turned me onto these drives when we were chatting over laptops ( we have the same one ) and backup devices.
