I am a member of a volunteer group who rebuilds donated computers and give them to low income families. The problem we have found is keeping enough windows install disks around. I know with win 2000 their is a remote install service over a network but am wondering if the same type of thing exsists for 98 or me. Right now we use 98 but will be switching to me in the near future. Thanks for any help or suggestions you guys can make.

I have never heard of such a service. In order for a service to be running, some sort of OS would have to be present and during and installation to make the service run, the installation process is the only program running during the installation.

Actually thats not true with a windows 2000 or 2003 server system its call RIS (remote installition service) It envolves using a network bootdisk to run the install over a network. Never mind I figured it out.
