Remote Login Question

With WinXP Pro what are all the services you need to disable so people can't remotely log in? Thanks.

Yea I think I already got most of em but if anyone had a list of em all that would be great.

 

Oh, and could anyone explain to me exactly how the remote thing works? Like if your using the comp and soemone logs in does it say soemthing or whatever? Is they're some sort of history of it i can check?

 

There is a setting in system properties / remote tab / remote desktop ? Will that help.

And what does that do? Isn't that for file/prnter sharing (which I rarely use but still..)?

 

You can still share files without it? Then what's required for printer/filesharing? Do you need a special router or something?

Remote Access Auto Connection manager is needed for PPPoE DSL and dial up.

Its only for outgoing anyway.
