removal of wga

Why would you need to remove WGA notifications on Windows 7, unless its not a genuine copy (don't mean to come off wrong and accuse but seen this WGA comment a lot and as Majorgeeks does not condone the use of such software then you may find this thread locked)?

Unless you have changed a lot of hardware you could get this message and try the diagnostic here http://www.microsoft.com/genuine/diag/ and validation here http://www.microsoft.com/genuine/validate/ and if those dont work a call to Microsoft support with your Windows Product ID handy may help, just tell them you had to change hardware due to failure but again they can check if an ID is genuine or not.

There is this HERE but if your Windows is not genuine, likelihood is updates will fail and your PC will be open to malware or exploits and if the tool suggested doesn't work then an update recently may have curbed that option to disable WGA
