Good Day All - We have a Windows 2003 Server. It is a Domain Controller. We would like to move away from the Domain , but we're having trouble removing the server from the domain and killing off the domain all together. Tried to use Active Directory Wizard to remove, but I'm given: "Operation Failed Because:... "The Domain Controller is not the last domain controller in the domain". The server is unwilling to process request.

Can anyone help me to get rid of this domain?

    Thx,
    Acktom

use dcpromo to demote the Server as a Domain Controller and remove Active Directory.
