I've been looking for a method to remove arrows from my Windows 7 shortcuts. Lots of links and tips, including Shareware programs, Registry hacks, etc.

The easiest fix I've come across, although it is aimed at Vista, works perfectly well in Windows 7 (32 bit) as well. IT MAY work, also, in XP, but I haven't tested that as I used a different method at the time.

My note: It does work in W7 (32 bit), I've just done it. :-D
For 64-bit Windows, you can use Ultimate Windows Tweaker.
It apparently will work automatically in creating future Shortcuts, as well. :cool
    Hope you like it.

Caliban I don't need no steenkin' title!

I remember the old TweakUI and TweakXP powertoys included the shortcut arrow thing - this looks good for Vista/7...thx, Bazza...
