remove spyblocs popup & partial installation

    Tryin gto fix a prooblem on a friend's machine: first I couldn't get rid of SpyBlocs pop-up ad .. now it shows up in the program windows (she may have clicked on install trial version!?) and the remove option is blanked out ... I looked for entries in the registry but couldn't find any ... does anyone know how to rid myself of the thing? ... any help would be appreciated ... it's on a DELL / windows XP machine ... thanks in advance ...

    Is there anything for it in Add/Remove programs so you can uninstall it?
    Tyically SpyBlocs has a line like the following as seen in a HijackThis log
    O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [SpyBlocs] C:\PROGRA~1\SpyBlocs\SpyBlocs.exe

    This is a registry entry so a search in the registry should have found it.
    You should have this file C:\PROGRAM FILES\SPYBLOCS\SpyBlocs.exe
    And the full registry path key is:
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run\SpyBlocs

    You may need to fix this by hand but try running the stuff in this link first, it may help:
