removing and item

    hello i wasnt sure where to post this
    but when i am having a problem with is i have an item on my desktop i pulled it out of my program files folder but it will not let me delete it some reason is there anything i can do to remove this ?

    to delete this file, close explorer.exe from task manager>processes, then run cmd from file>run in task manager, find the folder the file is in, i.e. \desktop and type del filename
    That will delete it
