Removing Bloatware from Toshiba Laptop

Just got my new TOSHIBA L305D-S5874 a few minutes ago.(I have a desktop, this is my first Laptop, and first time with VISTA O/S) It has VISTA(ok so I guess I have to deal with that ugh!) and I have heard tons of bloatware. What is the best way of removing the JUNK? Add/remove programs? I want NORTON off ASAP....among other stuff I don't need. But I want to do it safely & easily. I heard that sometimes if you remove bloatware off of TOSHIBA lapyops, that it basically crashes them. I need your expert advice. Thanksconfused

I too have a new Toshiba laptop an A300 1J1 and had no problems in removing various crud that came with it
