I had a Realtek ethernet card that burned out, so I poped a new card in it (NETGEAR). The problem is, my computer wont let me uninstall all the drivers for the Realtek card I had. There is still one file called Realtek - Packet Scheduler Miniport. I tried uninstalling it, says that would cause the device not to run and wont let me do it. I tried manually deleating it, but it just recreates itself. Any suggestions?

Also, if you have built in memory on your video card, is it better to have that enabled or disabled? Are there any side affects to disabling it or enabling it? Thanks!

Does the new card install & work properly? If so, I wouldn't worry about the one old file, as nothing is likely to call or use it. If it IS causing a problem, I'd try ferretting out every instance in registry where that file, or anything to do with that Realtek card is, and delete those entries, THEN try deleting it. Not sure, but that's what I'd try.

As far as the ram on your video card, yes, you're far better with it running. It runs faster than your system ram, it's where the card expects to cache and use textures etc. FIRST, then dump any extra to system ram. Disabling it (if you can) would seriously cripple your video card. Why would you want to disable it?
