Removing Platte Media From A System.

Hello everyone,

I have a problem with Platte Media installed on a System I have of a friends.

The System has Windows XP Home SP2 currently installed, I want to remove the Platte Media pest that seems to have attached itself to the computer.

I have noticed the following since its been on there:

Takes you to other websites when you click a Link from Google.com or anywhere on the net randomly.
Creates a "Platte Account" Shortcut Icon on the Desktop
Create files in the Program Files directory
Creates files in the System32 folder
There are running .EXE files in the Task Manager but I have forgotten what they are at the moment as I don't have the machine infront of me in work.

Something like PMC_Proc1.exe & PMC_Proc2.exe or something along them lines.

I have seen that there are some links with MSBilling with this Platte Media Software.

I left it running,

Kaspersky Antivirus
Spybot 1.5.2
SuperAntispyware
ATI Remover I have used
Was going to use another program when I go back there tonight.

i don't think its actual malware but they do install the software a bit 'underhand' and removal could be breaking the contract
