A friend was using my computer and put a program on it that she was using. When she gave the computer back, she removed the program. I just bought a licence for this same program and downloaded the files but it still uses her licence and doesn't allow me to put mine in. How, or where, do I delete her licence information from my computer so I can use my own licence that I paid for?
    Thanks in advance!

Hello Darla, welcome to Major Geeks.

It would help if you told us what the program is.
This information you are seeking will be stored in the registry, but indiscriminate registry editing can cause lots of grief.
When "she removed the program" did your friend just delete the program folder or did she uninstall it properly. If not you may be able to use a suitable uninstaller yourself.
