Okay so, yesterday I did a disk clean-up on both my C & D drives. All seemed to be absolutely fine. This morning when I get up to turn on my computer I get something similar to the following (I say similar because it's constantly changing, however still related to OmniPass):

An error has occured on the script on this page.

    Line:146
    Char:1
    Error:'BtnNext' is Undefined
    Code: 0
    URL: res//C:APPS\Softex\OmniPass\EnrWiz.exe/welcome.htm

Do you want to continue running scripts.

Now this shows up from when I start my computer. I log in with my user, with no password. I have tried everything in the following thread to remove OmniPass to see if it will resolve the problem. http://forums.majorgeeks.com/printthread.php?t=74425

Currently I am logged on my computer as an administrator. I also cannot run services.msc to start up Wireless Zero Config (comes up with the following error: MMC cannot open the file C:\WINDOWS\system32\services.msc.) I also cannot do a system restore. (System Restore is unable to protect your computer. Please restart your computer, and then run System Restore again). I have done this at least 3 times now. I haven't tried much else, but I'm now starting to get the feeling that it's not OmniPass that's the problem. But I'm thinking maybe because Omnipass won't actually run (it comes up with just a white block on my desktop) that maybe it can't authenticate the user? I have no clue what's happening!!

The worst of all of this is.. no I did not back up before I ran the disk clean-up. :cry

Is there anyone that has had these sorts of problems? Or has any way of knowing what I can do to resolve it?

Mmm so I got rid of OmniPass and that doesn't appear to be the problem.

    Any ideas?

    Should I just reboot?

    Hi

    Which Windows version you using?

Whats youy PCs Make and Model as it maybe worth re-installing OmniPass again (iirc its the fingerprint reader software)?

As you mentioned you have followed that thread linked to, to remove omnipass, and you mention OmniPass is not the issue, what message do you get on your PC or what effeects are you seeing, if its the error script message you have posted earlier then OmniPass is still your problem,

Could try if you wish to remove Revo Uninstaller or Your Uninstaller

or as you seem to be having other issues too, it maybe worth running the Read and Run Me Malware removal guide HERE and start a new thread in the malware forum and attach (instructions on attaching logs to your post in the guide).
