removing stubborn avg 7.5 free

HI,
I need help removing the avg7.5free edition. I've tried to remove it and I get this message
Installer initialization failed due to following error:
Error: Initialization of the language file "C:\Program Files\Grisoft\AVG Free" failed.
General failure. I tried to remove it in safe mode and deleted 57 of 68 file for avg but I can't delete the rest. I have no active AV. which major geek download do I need?

go to this link in the search bar type in uninstall avg and number 288 should help you out. http://www.grisoft.com/doc/faq/ww/crp/0

 

I tried that and it didn't work. Any thing else Ican do?

Avast will be good after you get rid of AVG. To uninstall AVG use Smarty Uninstaller. It is shareware but it should do the job for now.
