   Is there a program in which you can enter a file and the program will tell you where the file path started to create the file you entered?

   not 100% clear at what you want.. but if you use your OS's search function that will tell you where a particular file is located?
   
   you may also need to make sure files are not hidden as some searches will overlook these hidden files.
