Removing Unwanted software

I would like to be rid of pre installed programs I don't use aka Picture Gear Studio,etc. Is there a safe way, is it possible wo any harm to the PC??? When I went to the Add/Remove window it kept showing, File Safe to remove but may disable use of other programs,etc. So I quit till I could talk to some PC geeks, beings I am a PC Dummie TY for your time & any help, MOAB

Well you'll get that warning when uninstalling alot of programs, would it affect other programs, it's possible.

I would say, to be safe back up any important stuff on your pc, then go ahead and remove it.

Some programs when uninstalled, all files and folders are not always removed and may need some manual removal.

To check after uninstall, reboot, check ad & remove programs list, then do search for all files & folders type in program name, any left over stuff should pop up, then make sure was from program you dont want and delete.
