removing windows media player 9

    i never use the thing and was wondering how i could remove it and what consequences of removing it would be? i know there are codecs that i might have to uninstall but i understand you can get them without wmp ... but i dunno where to get them

    Any codecs can be replaced and might be anyhow with your replacement player. Media Player can be uninstalled from add\remove programs, Windows components.

    thnx dude .... i just figured there needed some special tool to remove like you do with windows messenger ... didnt think to look in the obvious place ... and thnx for the codecs
