Removing Zone Alarm

When i try to remove zone alarm the pc crashes and show this error message

DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL

and after the pc reboots i get this error message

ZA went south last August, glad I never had the need for it, as I see from quite a few forum threads it has been quite the PITA. Check out the links, the last one should do the trick.
