Can anyone tell me how to rename boot log in Windows Vista, say from "Windows Vista" to "Windows Vista C Drive"?

    Hi,

Maybe I am misreading your post but if you mean edit the boot loader rather than the boot log then an easy way is EasyBCD. Just get the free version by giving an email address (can be throwaway) and install and start the program. Then click Edit button. Then highlight your choice of OS and use the Rename button and Save your changes.
